In 1892 the Miller Family Farm was established. The Operation included milking dairy cows and beef cows along with raising corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and alfalfa hay. In 1983 Gene and Vicki purchased their first registered Hereford cows. They have three children; Matt, Bryan and Amy who began showing Hereford heifers as 4-H projects that led into competing in State Fairs, Junior Nationals and National Herefords shows. After 14 years of showing competitively in the junior shot light they earned numerous State Grand & Reserve Champions, Junior Grand & Reserve National Champions, Herdsman and Premier Breeder Awards. |

Over the years they have worked hard to improve the quality of the herd through extensive use of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer. Today the herd consist of an elite group of Hereford cows, recipient cows, the purchase of our first Red Angus cow in 2006 and two quarter horses Scooby and Tucker. Our goal is to produce cattle that will excel in the pasture and show-ring. |
